The Team consists of Mr. Nelson, building principal; Ms.Peart (Chairperson), Mr.Hutnick (Co-Chairperson), Mrs. Coltri(Secretary),  Mrs. Chapman,  Mrs. Delguercio, Mrs. Gorgo, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Lindner,  Mrs. Schlachta, Mr. Weed, student leaders from the National Junior Honors Society, Eighth Grade Committee, Student Council, and parents from the Cleary Middle School PTO.

The School-Based Leadership Committee (SBLC) has created and adopted by-laws, a vision statement, and a code of ethics for operation. The SBLC has met on three occasions this school year in order to address particular needs for the school community. The SBLC has created sub-committees in order to read and research issues that affect school governance, discussion among staff members, communication through a school-community newsletter, school website, and developing a working relationship with the Buena Regional Education Committee.

The SBLC will use the No Child Left Behind Survey as a benchmark and the Collaborative Assessment and Planning for Achievement (CAPA) guidelines and feedback to develop methods of raising test scores, fostering community support and communication, as well as developing a better school environment.
